Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers pretty decent rooms but suffers from a strong mold and fungus odor that permeates the bedding, towels, and bathroom. Despite the convenient location near Sunrise & Sunset Points at Kanyakumari, the money might be better allocated for refurbishing the guest rooms. The service is a mix of helpfulness with haggling for complimentary breakfast. The dining experience falls below expectations in quality, taste, and variety, even though steaks were a standout. Facilities are adequate but lacking standout features.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the sea, allowing for easy access to stunning sunrise views and a quick walk to the main market. The spacious rooms were comfortable, but the check-in process took a bit longer than expected, causing us to miss a planned excursion to SV Rock Memorial.
The Singaar International offers a peaceful stay at good value, although the rooms could use a makeover. The location is prime for exploring Sunrise & Sunset Points at Kanyakumari, yet the dining experience falls far below expectations. The service provided by the friendly women staff is commendable, making it a mixed but worthwhile choice.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the service by the women staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the location allowed me to see spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the hotel roof, the rooms were disappointing with old decor and paint peeling off.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, while spacious and clean, were not ready when I arrived late through Creative Holidays, making it inconvenient. The service lacked in customer care, although the staff was very helpful. The location was excellent, steps away from the sea, but the dining options were disappointing. Overall, the hotel offers value for money with its drawbacks.
The hotel is ideally situated near the sea, offering stunning sunrise and sunset views from the rooftop. The rooms had issues with AC, leakage causing a musty smell, and overall uncleanliness, but availability was a problem. The service was cordial but lacked follow-through on promised pool readiness. The location, though close to the sea and offering beautiful views, felt in need of room refurbishment given the price paid. Dining was cramped and below par. However, the hotel showcased excellent service by the female staff, adding a nice touch to the overall stay.
